Christian Finnegan: Show Your Work
Show Your Work is a standup special about playing the hand you're dealt. Filmed in a tiny backyard at the height of the pandemic, Christian Finnegan brings his brand of hilarious and insightful 'social autopsy' to topics that range from the dumb (pharmaceutical names, baguettes) to the super dumb (QAnon). More than that, Show Your Work celebrates the determination to keep moving forward when the world has gone haywire. Onward!
Bring Back Laughs
In 2020, Supreme Robot Pictures partnered with The Creek and The Cave to put on this live socially-distant event that would raise money for Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization, active in 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay.
The Awkward Comedy Show
Spotlighting four alternative African-American comics, Victor Varnado, Hannibal Buress, Eric André and Baron Vaughn, who bring to their routines the arrogant street-wise swagger of computer programming, Shakespearean drama, and playing the tuba.
Pluto Nash
It's intergalactic hilarity in the year 2087 when Eddie Murphy ("Showtime," "Shrek") stars as audacious lunar nightclub owner, Pluto Nash. Nash finds himself in lunar hot water when he refuses to sell his club to the local mob, which is run by a mysterious mastermind who is attempting to take over the Moon. Joining Pluto in the danger and lunacy are Dina Lake (Rosario Dawson -- "Men In Black II," "Josie and the Pussycats"), a beautiful earthling trying to further her singing career; Nash's bodyguard Bruno (Randy Quaid -- "Vegas Vacation," "Independence Day"), who is a robot on the verge of obsolescence; Nash's gun-toting mother (Pam Grier -- "Ghosts of Mars," "Jackie Brown"); and his best friend (Jay Mohr -- "Pay It Forward," "Go"). Also starring Emmy-winner Peter Boyle ("Monster's Ball," TV's "Everybody Loves Raymond"), Joe Pantoliano ("Cats & Dogs," "The Matrix") and Illeana Douglas ("The New Guy," "Ghost World").
