Forest engineer Ivan (Lukáš Vaculík) fell in love with scientist Julie (Jitka Ježková). After their wedding, they bought a guest house in the very heart of picturesque Bohemian Forest (Šumava), where they moved with Julia´s 16-year-old daughter Kate (Veronika Divišová) and her dachshund Hugo. However, Ivan and Julia focus more on trying for a baby rather than managing their family hotel. Fortunately, her daughter Kate and her dog Hugo come up with a brilliant idea of transforming guesthouse into ´Forest hotel for dogs and their owners.

The City
The story takes place within 24 hours in Prague. Klára, Viki and Mechanik move on the edge of the law every day. As a junkie, Viki earns money for a regular dose, preferably by stealing. Mechanik keeps his distance, is a dealer and does not take drugs. Klára has partially recovered from her addiction, but she is troubled by the absence of a home. She will give birth soon. The district they all belong to is controlled by a pair of enforcers. Former boxer and his partner Majk. Their fates dramatically intersect during the day. And it will cost someone their life.
