On the edge of a dark forest, where the fear of wolves prevents locals from straying too far from home, a young police officer, Jakob, receives a package addressed to the ‘Lone Wolf’. When a right-wing AFD politician puts himself forward as the only candidate for mayor, Lászlo seems to come to his senses: In order to prevent the "right-wing douchebag" in his village of 120 inhabitants, he hastily puts himself forward as a liberal counter-candidate. ÜBERLEBEN IN BRANDENBURG is a comedy about age discrimination and the post-midlife crisis, with a very topical reference to the political situation.
