The year is 1953. German warbride Clara (CLAUDIA MICHELSEN) has followed her G. I. husband to live at his family home in a remote desert area of Southern Utah only to see their marriage disintegrate. Her husband's brother Ray (SCOTT HAVEN), a fighter pilot who had seen action in Germany during the war, returns home unexpectedly to start a new job. His overt hostility towards her threatens her hard-found peace yet nothing could have prepared her for the disaster about to happen.
