Her Majesty’s passing was met with outpourings of emotion across the world, as people simultaneously grieved and celebrated the life of the unlikely Queen. During her record-breaking 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth represented continuity and consistency and presided over some of the most important events in modern history.
