America, America
Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning writer and director Elia Kazan ("On the Waterfront," "A Streetcar Named Desire") tells the true story of the early life of his uncle, Greek-immigrant Stavros Topouzoglow, whose optimistic dreams of a turn-of-the-century America quickly collide with cold, hard reality. Despite the casual cruelties, betrayals, and career setbacks he experiences in his new homeland, he forms strong and lasting friendships that help him weather the worst. Nominated for Academy Awards for Best Picture; Best Director; and Best Writing, Story and Screenplay, this feature won an Academy Award for the painstakingly accurate art direction of Gene Callahan.
Last Train to Berlin
As the allies are closing in closer to Paris following D-Day, the German high command evacuate a large shipment of Nazi gold, to avoid capture. Meanwhile in a small a Mountain town in Yugoslavia a commando (Ty Hardin) joins a group of patriots aided by a former rail worker (Danilo 'Bata' Stojkovic) bent on revenge against the Nazis, who are planning to heist the train before it can reach Berlin, and help continue the war!
Blue, den tause
He treats folks in his tiny Texas settlement with fairness, spends his time tending crops, and does all he can do to keep the peace when a hothead taunts him. But the man called Blue wasn't always that way. He once lived the reckless, on-the-lam life of a bandit - stealing destroying, wenching and killing with the outlaw gang ruled by his adoptive father Ortega.
