Princess 'Daya'reese
Reese (Maymay Entrata) is a con artist who dreams of having her own happily ever after in life. Driven by the need to bring her forgetful aunt to a doctor, she works day and night with her cousins to earn funds. An opportunity arrives when she meets Princess Ulap (Entrata), a royalty from the elusive island of Oroh. Enticed by the promise of money, Reese agrees to switch places with the princess temporarily. As she arrives in the kingdom of Oroh, Reese realizes that her pretension will be more difficult when she learns that a Filipino documentarist named Caleb (Edward Barber) is at Oroh chasing after interesting stories. Conflict heightens as another royalty, Diwa (Chie Filomeno), challenges her crown. Not knowing what to do, Reese decides to escape the island, but Caleb discovers her secret. Reese outsmarts Caleb by stealing evidence against her and threatening him to cause the downfall of his career. The two makes a deal and continues their stay at Oroh. Reese now has to juggle between pretending as a princess and winning the trials against Diwa. Soon, she falls in love with Caleb who warns her about Diwa’s dark plan. With that, Resse needs to make a choice between finishing the deal and abandoning the kingdom.

Mayessa, an indie film director, is egged to direct her first romantic comedy film. Unable to create a new story, she pitches in her personal tale of love and heartbreak with her ex-boyfriend, Paolo. The plot of Mayessa's film revolves around the lead characters Issa and Drei's discovery of their respective partners’ betrayal. After learning that Issa's boyfriend is going to ask for the hand of Drei's girlfriend, Issa and Drei plan to foil the proposal. Luck is not on their side, however, as they encounter one problem after another. As she shoots her film, Mayessa revisits her funny and painful moments with Paolo. Thinking that everything will be over once she wraps up the shoot, Mayessa is surprised to see Paolo during her film's premiere night. As Paolo wants to give their love another chance, Mayessa now has to decide if she will allow him back into her life.

In a northern village, all is sunshine and happiness as a priest blesses a rich harvest celebrated in a pastoral scene reminiscent of an Amorsolo painting. Jacinta (Maricel Soriano) seems a dutiful daughter, contented woman, and a model wife to Peping (Tirso Cruz III). The community views her sister, Clarita (Snooky Serna), as exactly the opposite: she ran off to the city, found a rich husband in Joey (Eric Quizon), and even stayed away from the funeral of their father Arcadio (Robert Arevalo). Their mother Almeda (Armida Siguion-Reyna), the perfect religious role model, has grown somewhat deranged from age and the loss of her husband. When Clarita and her husband arrive in the village to clear up property deeds, the family begins to shatter, peeling off the layers concealing a dark secret that has kept everyone in silent misery behind the happy exterior.
