Periyapandi, who hails from the same place, after becoming an MLA, stages his own death so that his remote village will reap the benefits of the largesse that political parties will bestow on the place when a by-election is announced.
Bandhan
Pooja comes from a very poor family which consists of her mom, dad (Ramlal), and brother (Raju). She meets the wealthy Thakur Suraj Pratap and they both get married with the blessings of her family. They relocate to the Thakur parental mansion with Raju. Pooja finds that she is unable to conceive. Raju falls in love with the Thakur's sister, Jyoti, and is all set to make her his bride. The Thakur agrees, but tragedy strikes when Suraj Pratap meets Vaishali, whom he wants to make his bride and nobody dares go against his decision. Raju protests but is silenced by the Thakur, publicly humiliated, and shunned by each family member including Jyoti. Now his dream of marrying Jyoti will never come true and he must not dare go against the Thakur's words because he might be responsible for his own sister's ruin.
