The Honeymooners
One of television’s most beloved sitcoms comes to the big screen with Cedric the Entertainer in the larger-than-life role of NYC bus driver Ralph Kramden. Ralph’s big dreams still never quite work out, and his best friend, sewer specialist Ed Norton (Mike Epps) is always around to help him get in (and out of) trouble. Devoted wives Alice (Gabrielle Union) and Trixie (Regina Hall) have a plan to come up with the down payment for a dream house, if Ralph and Ed don’t foil it completely with their own hairbrained dog-track scheme. It’s a big-city, big-laughs fable for the entire family.
The Fighting Temptations
A New York executive down on his luck finds out he's been left $150,000 by his aunt Sally. Returning to his hometown in Georgia, he discovers there's a catch - he has to create a gospel choir capable of winning the Gospel Explosion competition. Recruiting the town's one decent singer, he assembles a mish-mash of singers, including local convicts, and sets about getting them into shape.
