Idol

Idol is based on the true story of young Mohammed in Gaza, who dreams of coming to Cairo and singing in the opera house. As a child, he performs at weddings, and the dream feels far away, until one day he decides to bet everything. With a fake visa and without a valid registration, he attends the selection of Idol in Cairo. He makes it all the way to the finals in Beirut, where he wins Arab Idol 2013.
