When We Are Born is a unique live performance film that explores the themes of rituals, relationships and our inner landscape through music from Ólafur Arnalds' latest album, 'some kind of peace'. Recorded and performed live on location in Iceland in summer 2020 and directed by visionary filmmaker Vincent Moon. Like the album that inspired it, the journey through the surreal world of When We Are Born is ultimately focused on how we all move forward — a theme made especially potent in the times of disconnect and isolation it emerged from.

7 weeks 7 Locations 7 Songs: Island Songs is an audio- visual portrait of BAFTA-award winning composer Ólafur Arnalds’ home country Iceland. Teamed up with director Baldvin Z (Trapped, Life in a Fish Bowl) they visited 7 different locations in Iceland collaborating with 7 local artists to produce an audio and video track. Island Songs the film is the culmination of the 7 week journey giving deeper insight into the people and artistry of Iceland.

And when the live bands are finished, top DJs spin across the city until dawn... "Where's The Snow?!" is a meticulous and visually-stunning look at 14 of Iceland's top artists and groups, and the thunderous - yet very intimate - music that has earned this country its reputation as one of the most artistically endowed societies on the globe.
