Fahim and his father must flee their homeland of Bangladesh and leave their families behind. In Paris they face a real struggle to obtain political asylum. Fahim meets Sylvain, one of the best chess masters in France. They get to know each other better and become good friends. In order not to be expelled from the country, there is only one solution: become the Chess Champion of France.
