Ator the Fighting Eagle
The spider cult attempts to kill Torren's son, Ator, so the prophecy of him defeating the spider king will not be fulfilled. Ator's village is destroyed on his wedding day by the spider cult and his wife is taken to the temple of the ancient one as prisoner. He meets a skilled fighter, named Griba, who teaches him of his purpose in life and trains him to fulfill this destiny. He gains an ally who who aids him on his quest to the Volcano of Shadows to retrieve the shield of Mordor, a shield that wards off death and will render him immortal, so that he may defeat the spider king at the temple of spiders.
