"One particular coffee shop brings together individuals with varying social backgrounds and beliefs and demonstrates how they come to deal with life's struggles in falling in love, dealing with money, and finding oneself. Iza (Assunta De Rossi) is an aggressive and outspoken woman who is desperate to win over her dream guy even if it means changing everything she believes in. While Ruben (John Prats) is a working student who now has to muster the courage to seek help from his rich father who refuses to recognize him as his son. Mando (Diether Ocampo), on the other hand, is a security guard who is left to raise his girlfriend's baby after she left them to work abroad. Meanwhile, broken-hearted Kulas (Vhong Navarro) relentlessly finds ways of ending his life when the woman he loves dumps him for another guy."

Dave (Gabby Concepcion) is happy for his friends Alex (Mat Ranillo III) and Monique (Zsa Zsa Padilla) who are doing well in life but Dave's envious wife Terry (Maricel Soriano) conveniently uses the couple to highlight their own mediocre existence. When Alex meets an untimely death, Terry sees this as an opportunity for Dave to thrive in his profession while Dave and the widowed Monique mourn the tragedy. Their grief compels Dave and Monique to turn to each other for consolation, causing them to commit a lapse of judgment. The passionate interlude not only stirs life in Monique's womb, it also creates doubt in Dave's heart about his love for Terry, who is then driven to the edge, becoming heedless about right and wrong and unmindful of friendship.
