Dave (Gabby Concepcion) is happy for his friends Alex (Mat Ranillo III) and Monique (Zsa Zsa Padilla) who are doing well in life but Dave's envious wife Terry (Maricel Soriano) conveniently uses the couple to highlight their own mediocre existence. When Alex meets an untimely death, Terry sees this as an opportunity for Dave to thrive in his profession while Dave and the widowed Monique mourn the tragedy. Their grief compels Dave and Monique to turn to each other for consolation, causing them to commit a lapse of judgment. The passionate interlude not only stirs life in Monique's womb, it also creates doubt in Dave's heart about his love for Terry, who is then driven to the edge, becoming heedless about right and wrong and unmindful of friendship.
