Twenty miles South of the glitz and glimmer of the Las Vegas strip, lies one of the most inhospitable regions on the planet...the Mojave desert. This barren chunk of rock, sand, cactus and silt -sits right between the California and Nevada border. It can see temperatures in excess of 120 degrees, flash floods, and 40 mile per hour wind storms...all at the drop of a hat. It is a desolate, barren, wasteland.
