Two years have gone by. Vincent and Flo Leroy, now divorced, are next-door neighbors in Bordeaux, where they raise their four children while trying to start their lives over again. Vincent lives with Béné, a real do-gooder. Flo has started dating Edward, a rather annoying self-made man. Obviously, each ex-spouse cordially hates the other’s new partner. But things would be manageable if the children hadn’t decided to wage a war of attrition to eliminate their soon-to-be step-parents. Forced to prove to the kids that there’s no hope of their falling back in love, Vincent and Flo come up with the kind of crazy scheme in which they excel: by pretending to give each other a second chance, they intend show their children that family life can be pure hell.

Romain Flaubert is a man who, at almost 40 years old, has neither wife nor child. His job as an online medical dictionary photographer does not help his deep hypochondria, which has controlled his lifestyle and made him fearful and neurotic for far too long. His only true friend is his doctor, Dmitri Zvenka, who after initially accepting the challenge now bitterly regrets taking on his patient. He and his imaginary ailments are impossible to treat and Dmitri would give anything to be rid of him permanently. Dr. Zvenka thinks he has the cure for Romain Flaubert - to help him find a woman. He invites him to parties, registers him on dating websites, forces him to play sport and even coaches him how to seduce and behave around women. However, finding the gem who can support and love him to overcome his hypochondria proves more difficult than expected.
