The Next Step

“The Next Step” is a story of tragedy, triumph, and a wild ride on Route 66. In 2019, Janne Kouri, Founder of NextStep, rode his power wheelchair 3100 miles from LA to D.C. to raise awareness and funds to support the 6 million Americans living with paralysis. Janne was joined by friends who rode bikes alongside him. This dedicated team inspired those in the communities they visited. They provided quality-of-life grants, donated medical equipment, and hosted charity events. The journey was a true test of endurance, strength, and camaraderie. It was the adventure of a lifetime!
