Get Back To Dirt
Get Back To Dirt takes you inside the soul of American auto racing—the World Class dirt track street stocks—at the legendary Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas. Racers careen on and off the track. The speed, the roar, the smell of cheap corny dogs and racing fuel—Get Back to Dirt hurtles toward the championship, which is decided on the final night of the season. “We may never get to Daytona, ” one grizzled driver tells the camera, “But the Devil’s Bowl is our Daytona, every Saturday night. ”
A Single Frame
While on a trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia in 2007, Jeff Bowden encounters a photograph of a refugee boy taken during the war in Kosovo. Driven by this haunting image, Bowden sets out to find the child. His journey takes him from Texas to Paris, and ultimately to the post-war culture of the Balkans where he combines forces with an experienced wartime fixer. Weaving together stories of the war, the now-deceased photojournalist, Alexandra Boulat, and the search for the boy, A Single Frame is a testament to the power of photography and the belief that every life matters.
