Frances is a tough as nails female cop, Cordero is a jewel thief gangster. When Cordero’s heist goes awry and he gets caught standing over the bloody body of one of his partners, he finds himself arrested for murder as well as theft. Injured, Cordero is taken to a nearly abandoned hospital ward and Officer Frances is assigned to protect him. When Cordero’s bloodthirsty boss comes to the hospital with a team to kill Cordero before he can squeal, Officer Frances realizes she and has to form an alliance with Cordero to stay alive and keep him from escaping.
