Ben (Justin H. Min) er en filmskaper som sliter. Han bor i Berkeley, California, med kjæresten Miko (Ally Maki), som jobber for en lokal asiatisk-amerikansk filmfestival. Når han ikke styrer en alternativ kino på dagtid, bruker Ben tiden på å være besatt av utilgjengelige blonde kvinner, se på klassiske og samtidige filmer og spise på kafeer med sin beste venn Alice (Sherry Cola), en skeiv masterstudent som har vane for å date mange. Når Miko flytter til New York for å ta en praksisplass, blir Ben overlatt til sine egne enheter, og han begynner å utforske det han tror han kanskje vil ha.
