Trax Vol 5: Vertical Horizon
This year the Trax film takes places throughout 5 countries, featuring 5 snow bike platforms.This Trax film starts off in Colorado, and includes some features from the X Games events, and also some sampling of Brian Deegan’s first snow bike experience, along with a ride on the Gnar Bike Platform. From there we head to Transylvania to explore some terrain that does not “suck” while on the Yeti Snow MX Platform. Then, along with the Enduro Syndicate crew on the Snow Rider Platforms, we visit some new mountains in Russia at the home of the 2014 Winter Olympics, Sochi. Next, we return to the land of the rising sun for more Japow, and get to see some new big mountain terrain on the Moto Trax set up. Completing our journey, we head back to North America and witness some amazing feats by the industry’s top athletes in B.C., Canada, like Reagan Sieg, Brock Hoyer and Geoff Kyle, and we see a world’s first snow bike base jump, performed by 2x Gold medalist Cody Matechuk.The season sparks off with the winter X games event in Aspen, Colorado where we can see the best athletes compete and perform never before seen accomplishments.
Slednecks 16
The Slednecks team once again documents the sickest riding on the planet. Kalle “KJ” Johansson, Tyler Blair, Geoff Kyle, Chris Brown and crew continue to explore and dominate in and around BC. Brett Turcotte and Brad Gilmore slay secret spots in Revelstoke with rookie ripper Derek Wood. Chris Burandt seeks and finds new stashes in Colorado, once again putting his sled where none have been before. Cory Davis, Joey Junker, and Slednecks newbie Tim Beckner showcase their talents in the great state of Alaska. Carly Davis drops in on the boys in BC and earns her props. And not to be outdone, veteran Paul Thacker proves that nothing will stop him from enjoying the sport he loves. From the deepest of powder days, to technical riding, to huge drops and hits, Slednecks 16 includes all the craziness from the award winning crew. Once again, the world renowned Slednecks team outdid themselves. Heath Frisby changed the game with the first ever snowmobile front flip winning X Games gold. Kalle KJ Johansson, Dan Treadway, Geoff Kyle, Tyler Blair, Cory Micku and crew continue to explore and dominate BC. Brett Turcotte and Brad Gilmore return to form and slay secret spots in Canada while Chris Burandt continues to take snowmobiles into areas they've never been before. And an insane snow year in Alaska allowed backcountry rippers Cory Davis, Joey Junker, and Dane Ferguson to show off their talents. Not to be outdone, Carly Davis shows the boys that some girls can certainly hang with the best.
