Hva er bedre enn å tilbringe dine siste dager i "frihet" i skogen sammen med venner å skyte "zombier" med paintball-våpen? I godt humør og klare for litt spøk og moro ankommer det oppstemte selskapet arrangementet. Det viser seg imidlertid raskt at "zombiene" er en gruppe psykotiske ex-soldater som har bestemt seg for å gjøre vennenes drømmehelg til et vaskeekte mareritt. Innen det er gått lang tid er Sam og guttene fanget i en gammel bunker, omgitt av vanvittige og blodtørste zombier. Men det er det fortsatt bare en lek ... eller?
