At the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum we examine the oldest Norton of them all, a 1905 model with a Peugeot engine. Silverstone 83 The British Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 1983 British Grand Prix at Silverstone will be remembered for the close racing and the spectacle of talented riders pushing themselves to the limits.The 500 race was a hard fought battle between Freddie Spencer, Kenny Roberts, Randy Mamola, Eddie Lawson and Barry Sheene all barreling down the field. The 125 race saw 15-time World Champion Angelo Nieto clinch an amazing win.
