The Rolling Stones: Sticky Fingers Live At the Fonda Theatre
This programme captures a truly unique event in the long and eventful history of The Rolling Stones. On May 20th 2015 at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, California, the band performed the entire Sticky Fingers album live in concert for the first and so far only time in their career. The show celebrated the reissue of the Sticky Fingers album and was the opening night of The Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour of North America that would run over the next two months. The intimate setting of the Fonda Theatre was in contrast to the huge stadiums in which the band would perform for the rest of the tour and made this an incredibly special occasion for those fans lucky enough to get a ticket.

The Story of the Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are one of the greatest and most influential rock bands of our time having sold in excess of 200 million records worldwide. This fascinating programme tells the story of the early days of the band and how they became The Rolling Stones we know today. Jagger and Richards were childhood friends becoming reacquainted in 1960 at Dartford Railway Station due to their love of music. Later meeting Brian Jones who in 1962 went on to form The Rolling Stones. The story of the early Stones is very much a tale of how Brian Jones forged the band with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and became a key catalyst in the creation of their early sound. But whether it was the pressures of early fame or through his addiction to drugs his role in the band became untenable. Even though he is credited as originally forming the band he was eventually over shadowed by Jagger and Richard and his role gradually diminished until in June 1969 he was asked to leave. Less than a month later and under questionable circumstances he was found dead in his own swimming pool believed to have taken his own life. Using performance footage and rare interviews footage with Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, Keith Richards and Bill Wyman as well as The Stones Manager (1962/67) Tony Calder and Brain Jones former partner Pat Andrews this in depth programme provides a fascinating insight into the original formation of this incredible super group during their first decade. The programme concludes at the staged event in Hype Park 5th July 1969 which became recognised as a memorial concert to Brian Jones. This DVD is a must for all music and Rolling Stones fans.

Some Girls: Live In Texas '78
The Rolling Stones 1978 tour of the USA in support of that year’s ‘Some Girls’ album is considered by fans to be one of their very best. The tour followed immediately on the release album and by the time the band arrived in Texas in mid-July it had hit the No.1 spot on the US charts. The tour took a back-to-basics approach, with the band and their music very much at the forefront and little or no elaborate staging. Filmed at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, on 18 July 1978, this concert is typical of the tour with the Rolling Stones delivering a raw, energetic performance in front of a crowd who clearly love the show. Many of the tracks from ‘Some Girls’ are included in the set, together with a sprinkling of Stones classics from earlier albums. Originally shot on 16mm film, the footage has been carefully restored and the sound remixed and remastered by Bob Clearmountain from the original multi-track tapes.

Sympathy For The Devil
