On the way to the mining area, they are ambushed by bandits; everyone is killed except David, whom the bandits shrug off as dead. Cita, a native girl (Sharmaine Arnaiz), nurses him back to health. Dealing with severe memory loss, David tries to build a new life with her. But the determined Amanda has not stopped looking for him. They meet again. David’s memories come flooding back,forcing him to choose between past and present.
