Cousins Victor Madrid (Cesar Montano) and Primo (Bayani Agbayani) are both policemen. Primo’s overseas pen pal, Isabel (Dayanara Torres) is coming to the Philippines to meet him. But the timid and insecure Primo has sent Victor’s pictures with his letters that they decide to continue on with the ruse and switch identities when Isabel arrives. Victor is initially reluctant to accommodate the visitor in their house but becomes agreeable when he sees the beautiful Isabel. Isabel has an instant liking to Victor/Primo causing the jealousy of her real pen pal. Then Isabel gets embroiled in an adventure she is not prepared for, being chased and gunned down by a pursuing drug syndicate, and the dangers and risks draw her even closer to Victor.
