Har Kisse Ke Hisse Kaamyaab
This is the journey of Sudheer, once a ‘character actor’ of the Hindi films of 80s/90s where he always played the typical smuggler, dacoit, henchman, doctor, lawyer or an inspector. Now retired and aloof, one fine day, he comes across a rare fact that he ended his career after doing 499 films. He realises that if he finishes the magic number of 500, then it would be some kind of a rare record and his life would be considered a huge success. The film takes us through the bittersweet journey of Sudheer as he decides to make a comeback and find a spectacular 500th film that will end his career in a flourish.
Gollu Aur Pappu
Golu (Vir Das) and Pappu (Kunaal Roy Kapoor) are too dense to live and too lame not to, as a pair of deliriously dim-witted foster brothers on a mission to plant a bomb under extreme threat from Gustad, the head of a terrorist group. Along the way they will confound cops, their love interest and the common people and anyone and everyone who has the misfortune of crossing their paths in this comic caper for every idiot in the family. All this is to change as they are moving towards becoming national heroes, the only problem being they don't understand why. Is it their innocence or are they just plain simple dumb? This may be their downside, but the upside is that they have hearts of gold.
Double Di Trouble
Double Di Trouble, based on Comedy of Errors, Shakespeare's well-known play, takes a Desi avatar when father-son pair discover their mirror images in a different city. The riot of laughter begins when the people around this duplicate duo keep confusing between the two. The situation gets further confounded when the duo tries to put their own logic behind the new faces behaving like old pals. Hold your horses before you jump to conclusions. This is one of the morals of the film. For the rest, come and die with laughter and witness the legendary Dharmendra's first full-fledged foray in a Punjabi film alongside the reigning superstar, Gippy Grewal.
