Qissa Panjab is a multi-narrative contemporary film set in Punjab. It explores the lives of six young people, their hopes, aspirations, and dreams. Arjun is a rich young boy into substance abuse and his only ambition is getting his next fix. Deep is a basketball player whose circumstances suddenly put him on a completely different path. Kismat is a struggling dancer who aspires to be a great actress one day. Speed is a petty thief who nurses a dream to immigrate to Italy. Sukhjeet is a young orphan struggling to finish her studies. Heera is a singer who wants to make it big in the world of music. The lives of these six people cross each other in myriad twists and turns to an unexpected ending.

Roobha
A young South Asian transwoman, struggles with the issue of gender identity. Finally, she gathers courage to tell her family, but is promptly ostracized. Unable to make a decent living, she assumes the nom-de-guerre, Roobha, and walks the streets of Toronto. One night, she is assaulted by a homophobic group, but recovers with the help of friends. Later, her chance encounter with an enigmatic family man, Anthony leads to a rapturous romance. However, Anthony's familial affiliation, failing health, and final death throws Roobha into a conundrum once again.
