The Oscar-winning director turns her camera on another controversial figure, WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange, in the midst of his site's biggest disclosures of government documents over the course of half a decade. Rather than picking over the content of Assange’s work itself, Poitras wants to show us him at work, and her film takes us right into the nerve centre of the WikiLeaks operation.
