In this film, adaptation of Tolstoj's novel The Family of the Vourdalak, a mentally ill patient flashes back to horrifying experiences encountered while driving through the country. After damaging his car, he sets out for help, only to meet a mysterious family living in total fear of someone or something. The evil force slowly penetrates the household and thrusts everyone into a frenzy of terror!
