At the opening of an exhibition on the Inquisition in a famous Cathar castle, visitors are shocked to discover the mutilated body of a young woman in a torture cage. A young man with Down’s syndrome is found on the crime scene and becomes the prime suspect. Everything seems to point to his guilt.
