Jeanne is introverted and romantic; Johanna is a sensual extrovert; both women play in a local orchestra in Aveyron and are friends. A contest in Toulouse makes them famous overnight thanks to a simple trick on stage - Johanna mouths the songs voiced by Jeanne.
